Bicycles assist in HIV/AIDS response

The Danish development agency, IBIS, last week donated 30
bicycles for volunteers from the Youth Education Prevention Programme of the Catholic
AIDS Action and Moses Garoeb Youth Club in Katutura. The donation was made
possible by the Bicycling Empowerment Network Namibia (BEN Namibia), which
refurbished the second-hand bicycles and trained volunteers in bicycle

Government takes firm stand on HIV/AIDS

The government’s national policy in HIV/AIDS took effect last
week after months of drafting. The policy was first introduced to the public in
December last year as a draft form. It took 18 months to develop the draft

Bikers donate to AIDS orphans

bike fanatics came together in Omaruru and the proceeds from this event are
helping children orphaned by AIDS. The Christina Swart-Opperman (CSO) Aids
Orphan Foundation Trust received funds from Live to Ride Mcc Windhoek, after
